There is one thing that is clear in Saskatoon. The populations willingness to judge, sells newspapers. There are serious problems in Saskatoon, a corrupt administration of justice and racism tops the list.
The StarPhoenix refuses to print news that could leave a negative viewpoint on the community. We have seen many media fuelled witch hunts in Saskatoon in the past. Jack Grover has been charged with obstructing justice. He is not responsible for the death of two children, we all are.
Mr Grover has a right to due process, an unbiased and fair trial. The head line on page C8 in Wednesday June 29 StarPhoenix said: “He’s the last resort”. The article detailed a lack of safe and adequate housing in Saskatoon for the poor. The article detailed years of fire and police responses, fines and court costs. Why is Jack Grover the “last resort”?
Send a reporter with firemen being sent to a house fire, take a close-up picture of a fireman’s face when he first hears that there are children in the house. Take another close-up picture of his face as he exists the house with a dead child in his arms. We can do what is needed to ensure that Saskatoon firefights are greeted by children safely outside a burning house when they arrive, or we can lynch Jack Grover, and pray that it does not happen again. Payers for Jordynn and Isabelle have been answered, we have the resources, use them.

jack grover is to blame.. he never held his part as a landlord, and he doesnt seem to have much sympathy that our angels Belle and Jordynn.. which i knew by the way... have passed, they truly were a blessing and if he wouldve held his part up this tradgedy which we still grieve about at times, might not have happened.. and my best friend would still be able to talk and walk and be himself..i dont think you honestly have a right to say it wasnt his fault it was everyones fault.. well it wasnt.. hes to blame
its a real tragedy. give the man a trial. then we can stop with the bullshit allegations.
Why is everyone so afraid to put him in jail? If you have one slave locked up, who covers for all the sheep? Baaaaaaaaaaaaa
Jack did nothing differently than he has done for 20 or more years. It is only the change in government that has resulted in his trial. The people voted to keep him in business and it is the people who continue to allow him to do what he does. I guarantee that he does not work on smoke detectors all day. He should be sentenced to having his photo and email address posted all over the Internet. Jail is for the Government's training of Al Quada recruits. I don't think we need good ol' Jack to be fully trained... yet.
HE gets away with it all the time and will continue to until the people stand up and try to make a change in the laws of the province. The smoke detectors did not work and two children passed away as a result the third child has nightmares and wakes up every night asking about his sister that he saw in hte fire. tell me if thats fair to a child.
Jack Grover needs to rot in hell where he belongs and came from. I knew bells and Jordynn and their mother I have been there following her grief and anguish. If any of you think it wasn't his fault then look at the lives he has changed and taken away. He will get to wake up in the morning, eat and maybe get to talk to his family members. Bella and Jordynn will never come home, NEVER WAKE UP and Their Mother will NEVER hear I LOVE YOU come from their mouths. Don't kid yourself and say he wasn't at fault.
